"The unicorns were the most recognizable magic the fairies possessed, and they sent them to those worlds where belief in the magic was in danger of failing altogether. After all there has to be some belief in magic - however small - for any world to survive".(Terry Brooks, The Black Unicorn) |

Why Unicorns ? My own interest in unicorns really began as a child after reading the book "Elidor" by Alan Garner. However my interest having waned somewhat during my teenage years seems to have re-awakened again over the last few years and has become a real passion of mine, hence the webpage! Through the
Unicorns (and my search for more about them) I have found
many new friends too. Special thanks for help, support,
inspiration, (and even hardware <grin>) for these
pages must go to the following people who made this

On a trip to the USA
some time ago, I unexpectedly came across
these two Unicorns <grin> at Baltimore-Washington (BWI)
airport in the USA ! They are part of a display of many other
"umbrella's" around the airport. I hope they are still
there !
