I'm not sure who
this Palomino mare is, she was outside one of the rings
when I arrived, and was looking straight ahead, which
always makes for a good picture. She may be Krysto Easter
Surprise, but I'm not certain (if anyone knows for sure,
let me know). Olympus C-2100, 1/400th sec, F5, 170mm

Again, another
horse I'm not sure of, but this was class 9A, Junior
Mare, 4-6yo Olympus C-2100, 1/800th sec, F5.6, 218mm

This is most
probably a gelding called 'Drumhouse' (Dhruv x Diamond
Treasure) taken during one of the ridden classes (class
24/25) whilst the judge was riding him. Olympus

I quite liked this
grey the first time I saw her in the collecting ring
(where this photo was taken from). I think she is a 2
year old filly called 'Shifali' (FS Bengali [DE] x G
Shyamasri). She had the right conformation and had a lot
of presence. I was not surprised to see her win her
class. Olympus C-2100, 1/250th sec, F4.5, 560mm

Foals always make
a good subject to photograph, this one is was un-named at
the show, but the dam I think was 'Paleogeia' Olympus C-2100,
1/400th sec, F5.2, 702mm (digital zoom on, and no tripod
!)

Winner of the
three year old colt class, 'Ora El Masri' (Orashaan x
Alanda) who went on to deservedly take the junior male
championship. An outstanding looking colt in my opinion. Olympus C-2100,
1/200 sec, F5.6, 320mm

I had taken a
number of photo's of this impressive looking mare, called
'Madannia' (Medalj[SE] x Mikinah). She took 3rd place in
her class (junior barren mare, 4-6yo). This is the best
one of the series I took of this horse. Olympus C-2100,
1/160 sec, F5.6, 230mm

I had been waiting
a while to get a good picture of this mare so she stood
out from the background, the wait was rewarded... Olympus C-2100 ,
1/800th sec, F5.5, 554mm (hand held too).

Not certain, but
this may be 'Thee Rastafa' or 'AH Danza Bey' in the
yearling colt class. Black horses are always a challenge
to photograph. Olympus C-2100, 1/500th sec, F5.4, 490mm
