Day 2 (Friday), Page 1/2
These photographs
were taken at the Arab Horse Society National
Championship Show,
held at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern.
These are just a few
of the many photo's taken over the three days.
Personal
Comments, Day 2 /1.......
Malvern 2006, Day 2, "filly" day. More hot and sunny weather too. A review of
the photo's from Day1 showed that I needed to make some adjustments
to the settings of the new Fuji S9500 camera to get the best results.
I also took my own "comfy chair" so I could avoid those bum-numbing seats.
As a result I got many more good quality photo's on day 2.
The standard of the horses on Day 2 was just amazing and I got some
very nice pictures as you can see here. This time I positioned myself
near the rail of the ring fencing. Now, who decided that the new
ring fencing should be _that_ high ! Ever tried to take photo's
over it ? Lesley, Pat and I struggled to get good photo's
without
it getting in the way of the shot (Pat's solution was inventive though !).
The ringside
"bottle rattlers" were sadly very much in evidence again,
no sign of any stewards putting a stop to the "outside assistance".
They need to be more careful around people with camera's 8->
I would like to
thank all those who spent time
chatting to us and
allowing us to photograph their horses.
